Client: The Museum of the City of New York

Project: The New York City Marathon: The Great Race

Designers: Corey Yurkovich & William Watson

Our Role: Fabrication & Installation

Description: The Museum of the City of New York approached New Project to create a large metal display structure for their exhibit about the famous annual New York City Marathon. Suspended from the ceiling, the structure traced the marathon route on a map of New York City’s five boroughs printed on the floor below. Images capturing the spirit of the marathon were then hung along the structure. The exhibit was on display October 20, 2015 – March 8, 2016.
