The installation Fractal Dice by artist Keith Tyson was conceived based upon the artist's process of rolling dice 144 times for each sculpture to develop an algorithm that dictated the design. New Project implemented the data gathering process on behalf of the artist and prepared design and production drawings for each sculpture based on the data. After extensive evaluation and engineering, we then fabricated 14 complex floor- and wall-mounted sculptures, each with their own unique set of challenges and characteristics.
